Principal's Message

Ms. BeNita Parker

To My Caroline Sibley Super Stars,

Someone once rightly said “The two hardest things to say in life are hello for the first time and good-bye for the last”.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the year ended so quickly. So, with all my heart, it is my desire that each one of you cherish the precious moments we have spent together.

I hope you will remember me. I hope my discipline made you stronger. I hope my kindness made you feel safe. I hope our daily CS Creed remains with you. I hope Caroline Sibley was a place that you learned many things and made new friends. I hope it was a place you genuinely liked to be.

There is a universal truth we must face, whether we want to. Everything eventually ends. This is the day that we all have anticipated and talked about. I ‘ve always disliked endings, the last day of school, the final chapter of a good book, the end of a friendship. But endings are inevitable, leaves fall, and you close the book. Today, is one of those days for all of us.  While it saddens me that our time abruptly came to an end and instead of continuing to get to know you better, we will welcome a new start for next year. I will think of how much you have grown and how you will continue to become the future scholars you are destined to be.

To my 6th grade Superstars, wherever your future leads you, I will be watching and cheering for you. I am looking forward to updates from your Middle School Principals and seeing where your educational journey leads you. If you are unfortunately transferring, I wish you the Best of Luck.

As we say our goodbyes, I think of how Winnie the Pooh said, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying good-bye so hard”.

Remember, You Are Intelligent, You Are Unique, You Are a Leader and will always be a Caroline Sibley Superstar.

Best of luck at the Middle School and all your future educational endeavors.

Also, please note we are working diligently to schedule a day in June to pick up the end of the year student’s personal items out of desk and the classrooms. We are working to ensure that this curbside pickup is safe for everyone.

In the month of June, as a part of the Summer Reading Initiative each student will receive a set of Culturally Relevant books, so they can continue the Love, Joy & Passion for Reading throughout the summer months.

Report Cards for the fourth quarter will be placed in the United States Postal. The details regarding this will be available to you soon, so please continue to check the district website www.sd149.org  for updated information.

Wishing you a Safe & Enjoyable summer

Ms. BeNita Parker

Proud Principal of Caroline Sibley
