Principal's Message

Dr. Nicole Robinson

Dear STEM Academy Families,

As I write this letter, it is difficult to believe that the first semester is nearly complete and we are immersed into the winter season of events.  At this point, our students are deeply involved in school work and participating in a variety of co-curricular activities, and many of our parents continue working countless hours to support our programs. It is greatly appreciated by all of us at STEM Academy. I also want to thank everyone who attended parent-teacher conferences in November.  We had a wonderful turnout and appreciate the partnership with regards to your student’s education.

Teachers and students have been very busy incorporating balanced literacy into their lessons and the school day.  We have continued our monthly character traits program, with teaching what it means to be a good student; focusing on respect, responsibility, citizenship and making right choices.

The month of December is now upon us and the holiday season is here! With winter break approaching, I encourage you to take some special time together and enjoy the spirit of the season. Winter break begins with a half day on Thursday, December 19, 2019. Students will be dismissed at 11:20 am and school will resume on Monday, January 6, 2020.

I want to wish everyone a very healthy and safe holiday season and a Happy New Year!!

Educationally Yours,

Dr. Nicole Robinson
