Fall Registration Information

2008 - 2009 School Year
RETURNING STUDENTS ONLY
LOCATION:  ALL SCHOOLS    
Wednesday, August 13, 2008,  2:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, August 14, 2008,  10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Parents of returning students are required to provide (3) proofs of residency showing a District address:
1.   Current mortgage/lease papers with parents(s)/guardian(s) name(s)
2.   Drivers license/state ID with District address
3.   Current utility bill
 
NEW STUDENTS 
LOCATION:  ALL SCHOOLS    
Wednesday, August 11, 2008,  9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
FIVE PROOFS OF RESIDENCY ARE REQUIRED to register NEW STUDENTS: 
1.   Lease/mortgage papers with parents(s)/guardian(s) name(s)
2.   Current Drivers license/state I.D. 
3.   Current utility bill ( electric, gas, phone - no cellular )
4.   Notarized Statement - if you are not property owner/lessee
5.   Birth Certificate / Appointment of Guardianship with guardian's name 
6.   Transfer / Withdraw papers 
7.   Current bank statement, paycheck, or medical card (optional)
8.   Tax Statement showing the child as dependent (optional)
 
FEE INFORMATION:
FULL DAY PRE-K/KINDERGARTEN TO GRADE 6 - $75.00 Registration fee
DIRKSEN $95.00 Registration Fee
$15.00 Gym Uniform Fee (if student is using an old uniform, it is not necessary to purchase a new one)
$20.00 Band Fee (includes a band shirt and supplies)
FAMILY PLAN 3 children or more $160.00
(Children must be registered at the same time)
 
A person who knowingly or willfully provides false information to a school district regarding the residency of a pupil for the
purpose of enabling the pupil to attend any school in the District without the payment of a nonresident tuition charge commits a Class C misdemeanor (not more than thirty days in jail and/or a fine not to exceed $12,500.00 (SCHOOL CODE: 105ILCS 5/20.12B & 730 ILCS 5/5-9-1)
