Welcome to the 2007-2008 school year!  We are excited to begin another year with high expectations of success for each child and family we serve.  I consider it a great pleasure and a tremendous honor to serve as the Principal of Berger Vandenberg Elementary School.  As an educator, I believe that children are gifts filled with boundless potential.  Through the efforts of the school and community, we are able to help them develop their skills and talents and prepare them for continued success far beyond their elementary years.  We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and our dedication to  providing an optimal learning environment for our children.  We are determined to create a learning environment, but equally important, a caring environment in which children are accepted for their unique gifts.  With this in mind, we've chosen "Reaching New Heights Together" as our theme for the year and will continue the tradition of helping all children realize their academic potential.

We are very proud of the educational progress that our students continue to make each year and remain confident that this school term will yield greater success.
